About the Job
Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maneuver sit-down or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to transport goods. [1]
  • Loading & Unloading: Move raw materials or finished products from delivery trucks, rail cars, or shipping containers to designated storage areas. [1]
  • Inventory Control: Scan, track, and log inventory movements using RF scanners (radio frequency readers) or warehouse management software. [1]
  • Order Picking: Retrieve specific items from storage racks and secure them (e.g., shrink-wrapping) to prepare them for shipping. [1]
  • Safety & Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure brakes, fluid levels, and forks work properly. Immediately report mechanical issues or safety hazards
