The Inspection Coordinator will maintain inspection schedules, coordinate field personnel, communicate with customers, track inspection findings and corrective actions, and maintain accurate inspection records. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service ability, and the ability to manage multiple inspections and service activities simultaneously.
The ideal candidate understands or is willing to learn the requirements and terminology associated with overhead cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, and applicable OSHA, ASME, and manufacturer requirements.

Inspection Scheduling & Coordination:
- Coordinate recurring and new overhead crane and hoist inspections for customers throughout Texas.
- Maintain an organized inspection calendar and ensure inspections are scheduled within required or agreed-upon timeframes.
- Coordinate inspector and technician availability, travel requirements, equipment access, and customer site requirements.
- Confirm inspection dates, times, site contacts, access requirements, and special customer requirements.
- Monitor upcoming inspections and proactively communicate with customers regarding scheduling.
- Coordinate rescheduling when equipment, personnel, weather, customer availability, or other circumstances affect the inspection.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and work with Service Management to resolve them.
- Coordinate inspections with other planned maintenance, repair, or service activities when appropriate.
Customer Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding inspection scheduling and administrative questions.
- Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after the inspection process.
- Provide customers with inspection documentation, reports, proposals, and follow-up information as directed.
- Respond to customer questions regarding inspection status, documentation, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions.
- Escalate technical, safety, or customer concerns to the appropriate manager or qualified technical personnel.
